Chilly Arctic Remains a Warm Niche for Knudsen.

"The challenges of arctic acoustics is not new to Knudsen, and we are pleased our unique background and expertise has enabled our sonar technology to be chosen for such a critical project" commented Mrs. Knudsen. "Our company has maintained a presence in the demanding arctic since the 1980's delivery of systems to the Canadian Hydrographic Service for use in thru-ice survey mapping missions. This technology lead and continued active presence in the Arctic has also resulted in installation of Knudsen low frequency chirp systems on U.S. and Canadian Coast Guard icebreakers, as well as Canada Fisheries & Oceans vessels doing research and navigation in deep, often ice-covered , waters."
