Oceans 2005 - Washington, DC

Knudsen Engineering Limited recently participated at the Oceans 2005 Conference in Washington, DC where they were pleased to showcase the 320 Series of Echosounders including the 320N Navigation Echosounder with built-in PC & touch screen, 320M and newly redesigned transportable Knudsen 320M Jr.

Industry Canada kindly provided company support for equipment demonstration by lease of the Capital Yacht "Finished Business." Knudsen customers, and industry partners and colleagues joined KEL on board for both demonstration, lunch, and water tour of Washington. KEL staff showcased the new 320M Jr with the added new portability feature of built-in wheels for those "on the move" surveyors. Its attractive yellow case, built-in 32 greyscale printer, lightweight portability, and low cost are a few of the many beneficial features of this model. This single channel junior is a sophisticated, fully digital echosounder with the high end features of the well-known 320M product line.

More KEL trips to China

June 29 - July 10

KEL staff recently made a trip to China to provide operation and maintenance training for several Knudsen sounders owned by various hydrographic organizations in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Qingdao.


Zheng He Ocean Voyages Exhibition & International Marine Expo

Donald and Judith Knudsen recently participated in the Zheng He Ocean Voyages Exhibition & International Marine Expo in Shanghai, China. KEL showcased their newly repackaged version of the 320M Jr Echosounder. A new feature added to this newly designed portable model, includes wheels for "on the move" surveyors. Its attractive yellow case, built-in 32 grayscale printer, lightweight portability, and low cost are a few of the many beneficial features of this model. US Coast Guard Procure 2 More 320N's

March 2005

The US Coast Guard 11th District of Oakland, CA recently purchased 2 more Knudsen 320N Navigation Echosounders. Just last month, KEL staff were on board the US Coast Guard Cutter Mellon performing their initial installation.

Sales of the Knudsen 320N have proven popular among the US Coast Guard, and US Navy, which currently houses a 320N on their Ship of Opportunity.

Knudsen Engineering Limited recently participated at the US Hydro 2005 Conference in San Diego, CA where they were pleased to showcase their new 320C Echosounder. This model has a built-in computer that in addition to the well known features of the 320M & 320MP, includes its own built-in touch screen computer for display and data playback.

Knudsen Engineering also showcased their newly repackaged version of the 320M Jr Echosounder. Knudsen Engineering Limited recently participated at the 3rd EIHC Conference in Monaco where they were pleased to showcase their Knudsen line of Echosounders. Among these included the Knudsen 320C Echosounder, the 320N Navigation Echosounder, and their newly designed version of the 320M Jr.
