Knudsen Receives Volume Order from the Naval Oceanographic Office at the Stennis Space Center

Judith Knudsen, Vice President of Operations and Marketing is happy to announce that Knudsen Engineering has received a volume order from the Naval Oceanographic Office at the Stennis Space Center. Delivery will include eight 320BR Deepwater Echosounders plus Spares Kits. The 320BR's are two channel (3.5/12kHz) rackmount high power systems used for full ocean depth survey. Using a Windows® interface data display, the systems incorporate chirp & correlation processing to achieve low noise and high resolution sub-bottom profiles.

The new 320BR Plus is a unique system designed for multi mission tasks. Providing up to 4 independent channels capable of simultaneous operation, the320BR Plus provides an innovative solution to all survey mission roles including shallow water navigation (200kHz), mid-range hydrographic survey (33kHz), full ocean survey and sub bottom profiling (12kHz & 3.5 kHz). Lower frequencies offer chirp and correlation processing.
Upcoming Software Release for 320 Series Echosounders
