Knudsen Engineering Limited specializes in the design and manufacture of high-performance digital systems for marine applications. For over twenty-five years Knudsen products have been used by research institutions, port authorities, navies, and hydrographic agencies as well as civil engineering, dredging, and survey companies. The team includes experts in underwater acoustics, digital signal processing, electronic design, systems engineering, image display, data acquisition, and transducer technology.

Knudsen 320 series echosounders are used worldwide for precision measurement of water depths for hydrographic survey, dredging, ship navigation, defense, and scientific applications. The company offers total 'survey' solutions and through OEM agreements is able to provide customers with a complete survey package including echosounder, GPS, heave sensor and datalogger.

SounderSuite and SounderSuite Lite software, included with all Knudsen 320 Series echosounders, is a full-featured suite of applications designed specifically for our products. In SounderSuite, EchoControl is used to control the operation of the echosounder and record digital image data to the computer's hard drive. This data can then be viewed in our data viewing program, PostSurvey, which is currently available as a free download to anyone interested.
